Request for Director review of an occupational health and safety officer's order or decision

Director reviews have been removed from the OHS Act that came into force on December 1, 2021 (except for disciplinary action complaints dismissed by an OHS officer). A Director review can be requested on orders or decisions issued before December 1, 2021, as long as they are within the 30-day timeline. The information in this publication is based on the previous OHS Act (Statutes of Alberta, 2017, Chapter O-2.1) to guide the Director review request process.
